User Data Deletion Instructions

When you choose “Continue with Facebook” on Meetutor, we may receive information you authorize Facebook to share, typically including: display name, email address (if available), profile picture (if available), and an app-scoped Facebook user ID (stored on our systems as social_provider / social_provider_id).

We use this information to create or link your Meetutor account, authenticate you, and show basic profile details. We do not post on your behalf on Facebook and do not request permissions beyond what you grant at sign-in.

You can revoke Meetutor’s access on Facebook without deleting your Meetutor account:

On desktop: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → select Meetutor → Remove.

On mobile: Facebook app → Menu → Settings & privacy → Permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Meetutor → Remove.

After removal, Facebook will stop sharing new data with Meetutor. Data already stored on Meetutor remains until you request deletion under Section 3 below.

To delete personal data and learning content tied to your Meetutor account (including accounts created via Facebook), email [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request” and include:

• The email address on your Meetutor account (or the Facebook email used to sign in);

• Your display name (if any);

• A short description: you removed the Facebook app, want full account deletion, or want specific data removed.

We may ask you to verify your identity (for example, by replying from the registered email) before processing the request.

Once verified, we delete or de-identify, as permitted by law and our systems: account information (name, email, avatar, social_provider / social_provider_id linkage), login tokens, learner profiles, collections / lessons / flashcards you created, study statistics, and notifications linked to your account.

Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups or security logs (not used for marketing). Aggregated or de-identified analytics may be retained.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 business days and complete primary deletion within 30 days after successful verification, unless law requires longer retention.

You will receive a confirmation email when processing is complete, if we have a valid contact address.
